Pennie graduated with an associate's degree in business administration in 1984 and has worked at the University since graduation. While working at the University, Pennie completed a bachelor's degree in general studies in 2007. Pennie started her career in the Management Department, then worked with the Honor's Program, and Pennie's latest tenure is in the Academic Success Center.
