Speech Pathology & Audiology (Communicative Disorders M.S.)

The master’s program in speech pathology and audiology will advance your knowledge and specialization in the study of communicative disorders. 

The Master of Science (M.S.) education program in speech-language pathology {residential} at the 鶹ҹ is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700.This accreditation is valid through April 30, 2028.

After successfully completing the program, one will have met the academic and clinical requirements for the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). The Clinic, well-known for its successful summer literacy project, recently received recognition from the Louisiana Scottish Rite Foundation, Inc., in the form of clinic funding, annual scholarships, and National Foundation Grants focused on the continued success of our literacy project and implementation of ASL services. Additional ongoing clinic partnerships include the Aphasia Center of Acadiana and the National Stuttering Association
