To receive your Cajun Card, you must go to the Cajun Card office and take a picture. A pictured form of ID must be presented in order to take your ID picture. The process takes approximately 2 minutes.
Cajun Card Services is located in the Student Union Rm. 134. The physical address is 620 McKinley Street, Lafayette, LA 70503. Free 30 minute parking is available in the lot next to the Union behind the church.
We accept all major credit/debit cards, cash, checks, money orders and Apple Pay.
There are several ways that you can make a deposit to your Cajun Card. You can put money on your card . You can add money in person in the Cajun Card Office. You can call UL-1CARD (337-851-2273), or you can mail a check made out to Â鶹ҹÊÐ to PO BOX 43615, Lafayette, LA 70504.
There is a $2.00 minimum deposit for all Cajun Cash Deposits (online, over the phone, in the office) if using a credit card. There is no minimum deposit amount when paying with cash or a check.
Currently, Cajun Cash cannot be used to pay tuition. If you wish to pay tuition with a credit card, visit and go to statement of account.
All students that are registered for one or more hours in the current semester are eligible to receive a Cajun Card. Also eligible are Staff and Faculty. Please be sure to bring a pictured form of ID for identification purposes.
No, your student ID is good as long as you are a registered student with the University. However, if the Cajun Card office changes the card in any form, you will be notified to receive a new one at no charge.
Cajun Cash may be refunded to students who are transferring to another university, withdrawing from Â鶹ҹÊÐ, or graduating from Â鶹ҹÊÐ. If you would like a Cajun Cash refund, please complete the .
Alternatively, you can download, fill out and sign the . One completed return the form by E-mail to cajuncash@louisiana.edu, or by mail to Cajun Card Services, P.O. Box 43615, Lafayette, LA 70504. A refund check will be mailed within 2 to 3 weeks to the address listed on form.
If your Cajun Card is lost or stolen it can be online. If you subsequently find the lost card or need to purchase a new one you must report to the Cajun Card Office.
A fee of $25 is assessed to replace the ID card regardless if it has been stolen or lost.
If the card has normal wear and tear, the office will replace the card for free. Damaged cards will be assessed in the office, at which time management will determine whether or not you will be charged the $25 replacement fee. If your card does not work, either a new card will be printed at no charge, or the problem will be corrected within our office.
First, the card holder must change his or her name in the Registrars Office, if a student; or Human Resources, if an employee. After the changes have been made in the appropriate office the card holder must return their old card to the Cajun Card Office, there is a fee of $10.00 to print the new card. If the original Cajun Card has been lost, the fee will be $25.00.
Yes, bring your approval letter/email with you when coming to the Cajun Card office. There is a $10.00 fee for name changes. Please note, that you Preferred name will be on the front of the card and your legal name and signature will be on the back of the card.

Log-in to with your ULID and password. Click "Campus Services" on the left side of the screen. Under "Housing" click on "StarRez Housing portal", a new page will pop up. Click on the link "Application" at the top of the page in the red bar. On the new page scroll to the bottom and choose "Commuter Meal Plan Options" and then click "Save & Continue". This will begin the process of purchasing the meal plan. Continue until you reach the last page.
Declining Balance points are points that can be used at any of , such as the Brew and Chick-fil-A, in place of actual dollars. Each point is representative of $1.00 and can be used at any time during the semester. Declining balance rolls over each semester.
If you can't access your building/lab/parking gate your access may have expired or your Cajun Card may have burnt out. Visit the Cajun Card office and the staff will investigate the nature of your problem. If your Cajun Card has burnt out, a replacement card will be printed free of charge.
